Bass-baritone Jason Zacher has garnered national acclaim as a versatile and promising emerging talent in opera, concert, and musical theatre. To date, Mr. Zacher has graced the stages of prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, The Atlanta Opera, The Glimmerglass Festival, Kentucky Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Ars Lyrica Houston, and Paper Mill Playhouse, among others. Notably, he was recently awarded Second Prize in The Lotte Lenya Competition (2024) and named an NY District Winner of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition (2023).
This season he returns to The Atlanta Opera studio for their productions of La bohème, The Magic Flute, and Macbeth. He also joins South Florida Symphony to sing Pangloss/Voltaire in Candide, Worcester Chorus for Messiah, Montclair State University for Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, and both Tulsa Opera and Central City Opera for their gala concerts.
